Its been along time since we last heard from Eraldo Bernocchis project SIMM.

An alias he created back in 1996 while being a main part of the Illbient dark beat scene along with close collaborators such as Mick Harris ( Scorn, Napalm Death ) and dub bass legend Bill Laswell. This ( forgotten ) period of dark electronic beats / bass music is dear to vital. There was a special flavour to this music genre during the 90's.

Eraldo released an excellent album called "welcome" on Mick Harris's Possible label back in 1996. A very dark album combining eerie twisted ambient sound-textures along with his now trademark fluid and heavy slow moving beats / bass productions. SIMM represented some of the darkest beats and atmospheres Eraldo has ever created which in vitals world is a very good thing…the darker the better.

SIMM now rises from the grave after 16 years of death slumber, ready to sink its teeth into your skin with this brand new studio album, which is not a feel good album in any way...Visitor is packed full of top produced cinematic dark-ambient atmospheres, crawling meaty downtempo beats mixed with heavy suffocating basslines, all blended into the unique soundstyle that he is known and respected for. This is a visitor you don't want knocking at your door.

Album coming 2012, in the meantime you can enjoy the track Leatherface in full length exclusive on this website.

CD will come in a deluxe 4 panel digipack with dark cinematic photography / design by S.alt / Bombthedot
